Philadelphia Mayor announced Friday Mar 27th, that the city has been given permission by Temple University to use the Liacouras Center and other University Buildings as overflow facilities for COVID-19 patients if needed. Supplies and equipment were to be moved into the facility as a preparatory measure over the next few days. “They did not hesitate when called and I am very grateful for their assistance and leadership as we fight this epidemic,” (Fox29)
