  5. Hy-Vee is also offering job protective leave for employees who either test positive for COVID-19 and/or are required by health officials to self-quarantine. This benefit will provide job protection for a minimum of two weeks and applies to all employees, no matter their length of service (hy-vee)
  6. Additionally, under this benefit, full-time Hy-Vee employees enrolled in short-term disability will also receive a minimum of two weeks paid time off (hy-vee)
  7. Hy-Vee announced it’s extending its hours at its Cedar Rapids locations beginning April 20 to allow more shopping opportunities while maintaining social distancing. The new temporary hours are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., with an hour from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. being reserved for high risk customers, including those ages 60 and older and expectant mothers (KCRG)
