Did Accenture help during the Covid-19 pandemic?

No!

RATING: -2
  • Even though Facebook determined that all employees should be sent home during the crisis, Accenture (a contracting vendor with Facebook) refused to allow contractors to work from home or offer them paid sick leave for weeks. It wasn’t until the city of Austin shut down that Accenture began following Facebook’s guidelines regarding contract workers and allowed them to work from home (The Intercept)
  • In addition, even though it is known that an employee at that office was tested for coronavirus, Accenture is pointedly refusing to tell us if the test was positive, meaning that anyone else from the office who falls ill is less likely to be tested since they can’t link themselves to a positive case (The Intercept)
